Hilary Shedel
Hilary is one of the UK's foremost movement photographers whose work is widely used for advertising, corporate and editorial markets. Her highly original and expressive work with dancers, acrobats, martial artists and athletes shows her unique understanding of the versatility, energy and expressions of movement to illustrate concepts such as co-operation, energy, trust and flexibility.
As a fully qualified advanced dance teacher she brings a thorough knowledge and understanding of the different ranges of dance styles, including ballet, flamenco, lambada and capoeira to every photographic assignment.
Her trademark is the production of high-quality images that visualise and capture the moment in movement that the less experienced eye cannot see. She literally ‘freezes time’ with her camera!
Hilary has worked throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and the USA and her photographs are published and syndicated internationally.
